Great to meet you!

Hi! My name is Silvia and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I enjoy helping people discover more about themselves and how they can reach the goals they have or work towards creating a life closer to how they would like to live. I have worked with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, and burnout to name a few. I really get to know someone in order to make therapy a safe space they feel they can return to and be seen. I am bilingual in Spanish as well.

My approach to therapy

I like to work with clients to create personalized therapy goals. I describe myself as "eclectic" in my approach where I can work with a variety of therapies that can help my clients along with identifying a main approach depending on what their concerns are. I strive to provide a safe, comfortable, and culturally sensitive environment for all clients. In sessions, you would see a warm and curious approach to really understanding who you are and how I can help.

What you can expect from me

You can expect taking away learning more about yourself, your experience, your symptoms and how things can improve with time. I help clients develop attainable goals for themselves and teach how you can take steps to reach them. My hope is that you feel comfortable, understood, respected, and heard so that we can work well together. If you like humor, we can include it!
