Great to meet you!

I was trained and educated in New York City which provided a vast array of different presenting psychiatric symptoms. The diversity I experienced while training has helped me relate to people. I do primarily medication management for psychiatric disorders with focus driven therapy to be used with the medication treatment. If you are looking for primarily therapy alone, a licensed clinical social worker would be a better fit.

My approach to therapy

I try to hear what the person is saying and relate to how they feel, I find that approach has helped. I primarily do medication management and prefer to minimize control substance use due to increased risks of developing dependency. in general I don't prescribe controlled substances in my private practice.

What you can expect from me

when I meet with people I try to hear what they are saying and then try to selected a medication that may be helpful, if indeed indicated, which might help with the specific way they are feeling. I offer therapy when needed and decide whether medication management is needed or indicated.
