Great to meet you!

I’m Simmone, a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Florida Qualified Supervisor for LMHC registered interns. I support teens and adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. My work is rooted in compassion, curiosity, and a genuine belief that people can heal and grow when they feel understood and supported.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and structured. I help clients slow down, understand what’s happening in their mind and body, and build practical skills they can use outside of session. I believe therapy works best when clients feel safe, understood, and empowered. I focus on helping you connect your thoughts, feelings, and physical experiences so you can better understand your emotional responses. Together, we explore the “why” behind your patterns, strengthen your sense of self, and create tools that support long‐term growth. My style is direct but compassionate — I offer insight, structure, and gentle challenge while honoring your pace and lived experience.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a space to slow down, feel heard, and begin making sense of what brought you to therapy. We’ll explore your current concerns, your history, and what you’re hoping to change. My goal is to create an environment that feels safe, supportive, and collaborative. I want you to show up as you are and begin building the insight and skills needed to move forward. Schedule our first session through my calendar.
