Great to meet you!

Hi there. Firstly, my name Siobhán is Irish & pronounced like sha-v-on. And I am glad you are here. I approach everyone as a fellow human & use my bubbly personality, genuine curiosity, & compassion to develop rapport. My experience is primarily in grief, loss, life transitions, sexuality, and neurodivergence. Basically: all of the existentialism of simply being human on this wild ride we call life.

My approach to therapy

We will collaborate to find a way to invite joy back into your life. My eclectic approach means that I am attuned to how I can be a witness to ones experience in the here-and-now in a way that the patient needs while guiding them towards the integration of all parts of their Whole Person (emotional, intellectual, and physical). Throughout my decade of experience I work with grief and loss (existentialism), as well as sexuality (LGBTQ+), and neurodivergence (ADHD) for young people.

Currently I am only seeing people in-person at the San Francisco office location.

What you can expect from me

I see my role to attune, understand, and identify what reality is for you. And how to achieve insight, awareness, and towards the outcome you desire. I am curious to understand how your mind works. I offer empathic and reflective listening while conveying themes, patterns, and connections I may notice. I prefer to continuously 'agenda-set' to ensure we are on the same page for effectiveness of sessions. I respect that therapy is courageous and an investment of time, money, and attention.
