Great to meet you!

I'm a bilingual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (English and Spanish) with 13 years of clinical experience, and I work entirely via telehealth across California. My clients range from children and adolescents to adults and seniors, and often I'm working with whole families at once.

A lot of the people I work with are navigating anxiety, ADHD, trauma, or major life transitions, and many are doing it while also managing the weight of cultural expectations, immigration history, or intergenerational patterns that don't always have easy names.

My sessions are judgment-free, bicultural, and built around what actually helps you move forward.

My approach to therapy

My approach is integrative, meaning I pull from several evidence-based methods depending on what you need. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) helps us identify and shift thinking patterns that keep you stuck. Solution-Focused Therapy helps us figure out what's already working and build from there. For families and children, I use Family Systems and PCIT to address the dynamics at play, not just the individual. I also incorporate Motivational Interviewing when someone is navigating ambivalence about change — because wanting to change and feeling ready to change are two different things, and both are valid starting points. Whatever combination we use, the approach is always collaborative. You set the goals; I help you get there.

What you can expect from me

The first session is about connection, not evaluation. You won't feel like you're being interviewed or tested — my goal is for you to leave feeling like you've been heard, maybe for the first time in a long time. We'll talk about what brought you in, what you're hoping for, and any concerns you have about the process. I'll gather some clinical information to make sure we're starting in the right place, but the conversation comes first. By the end of our first session, we'll have a shared sense of direction and a plan that reflects your priorities, not a standard checklist. Sessions are available in English and Spanish, and I'll follow your lead on which feels most comfortable.
