Great to meet you!

Welcome — you're taking a meaningful step just by being here. I'm Smita, a licensed therapist specializing in anxiety, burnout, life transitions, relationships, and the particular pressures of modern life. I believe prioritizing yourself is essential to living the life you want. My work is about more than managing symptoms; I help people reach for their potential, reconnect with who they really are, and build the kind of quiet confidence that comes from knowing your own values. If you're ready, I'd love to be part of that journey. Current session availability: Tues/Weds morning/daytime, Friday morning

My approach to therapy

Everyone who walks through my door carries a unique story and set of experiences — and I believe the way we work together should honor that. I tailor our work based on what you're going through, what feels manageable, and what healing means to you.

I bring warmth and genuine curiosity to every session — this is a space where you can say the hard things out loud, and together we'll find the path forward. I show up with openness and a genuine commitment to understanding you, and staying attuned to what's working and what needs to shift.

Whether you're dealing with anxiety, a major life change, relationship stress, or simply a feeling that something needs to shift, I'm here to help you find your way back to yourself.

What you can expect from me

The first session is about you — sharing what's brought you here and what you're hoping to find. I follow your lead. If you need to talk, I'm here to listen first. If you're not sure where to start, I'll gently help guide the conversation.

My goal is to understand what you're experiencing, attune to where you are, and get a clearer picture of what's going on. I welcome feedback throughout — finding a good fit matters, and I want us to get a real sense of how we work together. My hope is that you leave feeling heard — with a sense that your goals are within reach.
