Great to meet you!

Since I was a teen I knew I wanted to try to make a difference in people's lives. I decided to study psychology and went on to receive my Masters in Counseling in order to do just that. I have worked in inpatient residential treatment for substance abuse, community mental health agencies, and in the private practice sector for several years. I enjoy working with the young adult population and helping them on their journey of self-discovery.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I believe optimal mental health encompasses mind, body, and spirit. I tend to address more than just negative thinking patterns, but also explore how sleep, nutrition, and movement can also contribute to feelings of anxiety or depression. Previous clients have described me as warm and inviting, yet challenging and encouraging.

What you can expect from our first session

Clients can expect to feel heard and validated throughout our sessions. I hope to leave clients with a curiosity to challenge themselves in order to have a better understanding of their motives and goals. In addition to this, we will discuss tools and techniques for managing symptoms that may arise.
