Great to meet you!

Hola, I’m Sofia! I know reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step, and I want you to know you’re not alone in it. My hope is to offer a space where you can be yourself, and feel genuinely understood. I believe healing happens in connection, when we feel safe enough to explore our stories, our bodies, and the parts of ourselves we’ve learned to hide. In our work, we may create space to listen to the wisdom of your body, using somatic practices to help release what’s been held and create space for more ease, clarity, and self-trust.

My approach to therapy

My approach is rooted in seeing you as a whole person, not just a set of symptoms. I create a safe, compassionate space where your experiences can be explored without judgment. Grounded in trauma-informed care, my work integrates somatic practices to help you connect with your body’s innate wisdom. Our bodies often carry the imprint of our past, and learning to listen to those signals can be a powerful step toward healing and resilience. I am trained in EMDR and hold a Yoga Teacher Training certification, allowing me to blend evidence-based therapy with mindful, body-centered practices for a holistic approach to growth and recovery.

What you can expect from me

In our sessions, you can expect a safe, non-judgmental space to explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. We'll focus on processing challenges while building emotional resilience. A key part of our work will involve somatic practices, helping you tune into your body's sensations and learn how stress or emotions may manifest physically. Through body awareness, mindfulness, and grounding techniques, we'll support your healing process from both a mental and physical perspective.
