Great to meet you!

As a mental health advocate, I believe that people are resilient, capable, and empowering humans. Sometimes life creates this "stuckness" that can get in the way of relationships, goals, and an authentic relationship with the self. It takes courage to ask for help, and I am happy that you are here. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), I work with adults and teens struggling with perfectionism, anxiety, depression, and trauma.

A bit about my approach to therapy

First and foremost, therapy is most effective as a collaborative process. My integrative practice includes person-centered therapy to build a safe space and relationship with you from a compassionate nonjudgmental stance, with cognitive behavioral therapy to discover how past experiences impact current thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors. In other words, I am here to listen to you, challenge you, and support you along the way.

What you can expect from our first session

In the introductory session, you will have the opportunity to share your story and what you hope to achieve in therapy. Some thoughts and ideas you might say aloud for the first time, which is highly welcomed here. My priority is to provide a safe and warm environment that allows you to be vulnerable, while also feeling secure. From there, we will work together in the sessions that follow to help your goals become a reality.
