With over two decades of dedicated service in the mental health field, Sommer holds a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pfeiffer University and an Undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Sommer is on a mission to nurture transformative relationships through culturally attuned, trauma-informed care. Sommer is committed to creating an environment that encourages vulnerability, instills hope, and fosters deep connections.

Sommer's expertise in trauma and attachment is a cornerstone of her practice. She is dedicated to helping clients heal from past traumas and develop secure, healthy attachment patterns.
