Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years of clinical and administrative experience, and I provide therapy to clients in South Carolina via telehealth. My background includes more than a decade working within the Veterans Healthcare System, along with experience in private practice, correctional settings, and community-based care. I’ve worked in outpatient addiction recovery, domestic violence and rape crisis centers, and social service agencies, supporting individuals, couples, families, and groups from diverse backgrounds. I bring a compassionate, experienced, and practical approach, grounded in evidence-based therapy.

My approach to therapy

My approach is client-centered, collaborative, goal-oriented, and holistic. I believe therapy should be tailored to your unique experiences and needs. I focus on creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can openly explore challenges and build meaningful change. Together, we’ll identify your goals and use evidence-based strategies to support your emotional health, strengthen coping skills, and improve overall well-being. I meet you where you are and adjust the process to what works best for you.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a warm, welcoming, and structured conversation focused on understanding you and what brings you to therapy. We’ll discuss your current concerns, personal history, and what you’d like to achieve. I’ll ask some questions to get a clearer picture, but there’s no pressure to share everything right away—we’ll move at your pace. We’ll also go over how telehealth works, answer any questions you have, and begin identifying next steps so you leave with a sense of direction and support.
