Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience across behavioral health, child welfare, clinical assessment, and managed care. My work has given me the opportunity to support adults and families navigating trauma, stress, life transitions, family challenges, and other experiences that can affect emotional well-being and daily functioning.

I believe people are more than the challenges that bring them to therapy. My goal is to provide a space where you can talk openly about what is happening in your life, better understand the experiences that have shaped you, recognize your strengths, and begin identifying practical ways to move forward. I'm particularly interested in trauma-informed care, family functioning, and helping individuals create meaningful, sustainable change.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, open-minded, and direct. I want you to feel comfortable being honest about your experiences without fear of judgment, while also knowing I will respectfully challenge you when it helps you recognize patterns, consider a different perspective, or move toward your goals.

I use a client-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed approach, incorporating motivational interviewing and other goal-focused strategies based on your individual needs. I view therapy as a collaborative process. Rather than assuming I have all the answers, we work together to understand what is happening, identify what matters most to you, build upon the strengths and resources you already have, and develop realistic steps toward change.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to begin understanding what brings you to therapy and what you would like to change. We will talk about your current concerns, relevant experiences and relationships, strengths, supports, and the goals you would like to work toward.

You do not need to arrive with everything figured out. My role is to ask thoughtful questions, listen carefully, and help us begin organizing what may feel complicated or overwhelming. By the end of our initial sessions, I want us to have a clearer understanding of your needs, the goals that are most important to you, and a plan for how we can work toward them together.
