Great to meet you!

As a licensed clinical social worker with a background in exercise psychology and nutrition, I aim to provide a holistic approach to therapy - connecting both the mind and the body. I work with children, adolescents, families and individuals looking to process trauma, intergenerational family dynamics, identity and/or manage their anxiety, ADHD, depression and everyday life stressors.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is integrative, intersectional and humanistic. Symptoms and stressors are often complex and overlapping, requiring a comprehensive approach to treatment. I hope to help clients feel grounded and confident in themselves, both physically and mentally. Sessions could include: learning new skills, changing behavior patterns, improving communication styles and even more intensive trauma-focused processing. I have extensive knowledge and training in diverse areas of focus and will collaborate with you on what feels best.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to alleviate some of the worries and apprehensions of starting therapy. Individual Therapy sessions are typically 55 minute video sessions. Our first initial session is a great time to explore your interests, treatment preferences, expectations and ways that you can feel supported long-term. For those looking to engage in EMDR specifically, we will also take a look at consent and criteria for deeper trauma processing in the first intake session to see if it's a good fit.

Note: EMDR sessions going forward are private pay given longer session times and more intensive processing.

If you have any questions or concerns about treatment expectations and therapy, send me an email and we can schedule a free consultation call to clarify anything :)
