Great to meet you!

Hello, I am a bilingual Spanish -English Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) specializing in depression, anxiety, trauma and life transitions. I have a background in dance, education and various therapeutic techniques, including, dance and art therapy, CBT, mindfulness, psychodynamic and trauma focused interventions.

My approach to therapy

In addition to traditional techniques like talk therapy and cognitive strategies, I use mindfulness practices, body-based tools like breathwork and creative exercises, depending on what resonates with you. These techniques are designed to help you feel more grounded, connected, and empowered in your healing journey.

What you can expect from me

In your first therapy session the focus will be on getting to know you and creating a safe space where you can begin to share your story at your own pace. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, any goals or areas you’d like support with, and what you're hoping to get out of the process. I’ll also ask some background questions to help me understand your story, experiences and values. This session is also a chance for you to ask any questions you may have about how therapy works or about my approach. There's no pressure to dive deep right away—we’ll go at a pace that feels right for you. Most importantly, this time is about beginning to build trust and setting the foundation for our work together.
