Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Sonia, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I believe therapy should be a space where you can show up as your full self and feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood. My approach is warm, collaborative, and relational, and I support clients navigating anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, life transitions, identity, and overwhelming emotions. Together, we’ll work toward greater self-understanding, healthier patterns, and practical tools that support meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy works best when you feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that you are the expert on your own life. Together, we’ll explore the patterns, relationships, and experiences that may be keeping you stuck while building practical tools to help you feel more grounded and confident. I also make space for culture, identity, family, and the parts of your story that have shaped who you are.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and talk about what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask questions about what you’ve been experiencing, what feels most important right now, and what you hope to get out of our work together. You don’t have to have everything figured out or know exactly where to begin. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer sense of what our next steps can look like.
