Sonia Trefflich

Hello! My name is Sonia Trefflich. I’m a Bilingual Spanish-speaking Licensed Clinical Social Worker and an EMDR-trained therapist. My passion is working with others, especially those who feel damaged and stuck with their pain from past experiences. I have worked with individuals from many cultural, ethnic, and religious backgrounds, and I have a deep understanding of the added challenges that upbringing and identity may present post or pre-trauma.

I work with individuals from an empathetic, trauma-informed perspective, ensuring they feel seen, heard, and understood throughout their healing journey. My approach is rooted in creating a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where individuals can process their experiences at their own pace. I help individuals address past trauma while empowering them to build resilience and reconnect with their inner strengths.

Individuals can expect to gain deeper self-awareness, emotional resilience, and practical tools for navigating life's challenges. My primary goals are to help individuals process unresolved trauma, develop healthier coping mechanisms, and cultivate self-compassion. By the end of therapy, individuals often experience greater clarity, confidence, and a renewed sense of empowerment in their growth journey.
