Great to meet you!

I am a client-centered therapist and focus on my client's strengths. Typically, I have been able to assist clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, family and/or work conflicts, end-of-life, and chronic illness.

I have worked with adults whose ages range from 18 - 90, transitional-age youth, adults, and older adults needing support through life changes, chronic illness, and end-of-life.

Social work has always been an interest of mine. I have seen family members and close friends go through life struggles and wish they had more professional support. I decided to make this my career. I enjoy meeting people and listening to their stories, and I am always happy to provide support and resources.

My approach to therapy

I utilize a strengths-based/client-centered approach and incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. When communicating with clients, I am relaxed and have a very easygoing style. I allow clients to express themselves in ways they feel comfortable.

What you can expect from me

Typically, in the first and second sessions, together we explore and set goals for treatment. I want to get to know you as a person, and so I will ask you to share a bit about yourself, what you are comfortable sharing, to start, and go into current concerns.
