Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 11+ years of experience supporting children, teens, adults and families across the lifespan, from childhood through older adulthood. I earned my Master of Social Work degree from Touro College and have a background in family therapy, which informs my understanding of the relationships, experiences, and environments that shape who we are. At the heart of my practice is a deep commitment to the social work value of the dignity and worth of every person. Everyone deserves to feel seen, heard, respected, and supported, regardless of their background or life circumstances. You are the expert on your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you as we explore challenges, recognize your strengths, and work toward the changes that matter most to you.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in meeting you where you are. Therapy should be a space where you feel safe enough to be honest, curious enough to explore new perspectives, and supported enough to grow at your own pace. Guided by the values of "A.S.S.E.T.—Advocate, Support, Strength, Empower, Together"—I view therapy as a partnership. You do not have to have everything figured out before beginning. We will work together to help you gain insight, tap into your strengths, and create meaningful change in a way that feels right for you.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a rapport founded in trust, respect, and understanding. We will discuss your concerns, current challenges, personal history as relevant, and what you hope to gain from the process. I will also invite you to share what support looks like for you, what has or has not worked in the past, and what you would like to be different moving forward. I understand that starting therapy can feel unfamiliar or even scary, so there is no expectation that you arrive with all the answers or know exactly where to begin. My goal is to listen, validate your experiences, answer your questions, and begin creating goals together.
