Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a background in Emergency Nursing and acute care psychiatric stabilization. I specialize in diagnostic evaluations and personalized medication management for conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma-related disorders, and mood disorders.

My approach is direct, thoughtful, and focused on helping you feel better in a practical, sustainable way. I take the time to understand your symptoms, history, and goals, and I work with you to develop a treatment plan that fits your life; not a one-size-fits-all approach.

Patients often choose to work with me when they are looking for clear answers, efficient care, and a provider who will listen, be honest, and collaborate on next steps. I aim to create a straightforward and supportive experience where you feel heard and respected, without unnecessary complexity.

If you are ready to take the next step in improving your mental health, I look forward to working with you.

My approach to therapy

While my primary focus is medication management, I also incorporate brief, evidence-based techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing when helpful. This allows us to address both symptoms and the patterns that may be contributing to them.

What you can expect from me

My process is structured, thorough, and focused on helping you feel better as efficiently as possible.

During the initial visit, we will complete a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation. I will review your current symptoms, history, sleep patterns, medical background, and any previous treatments. This allows me to develop a clear understanding of what is contributing to your symptoms and provide an accurate diagnosis.

At the end of the evaluation, we will discuss a personalized treatment plan. If appropriate, this may include medication options, along with education on how they work, expected benefits, and potential side effects. My goal is to make sure you feel informed and comfortable with the plan moving forward.

Follow-up visits are typically shorter and focused on monitoring progress, adjusting medications if needed, and addressing any concerns. These visits are important to ensure that treatment is effective and tailored to your response over time.

I aim to provide clear guidance, collaborative care, and a straightforward process so you can see meaningful improvement without unnecessary delays.
