Great to meet you!

Hi, I am Sonya Mentz and I would love the opportunity to work with you to increase self-awareness to build your self-esteem to become the person you desire. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia. I graduated from Walden University with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

My approach to therapy

Life gets hard sometimes, and it is ok to need help. Gaining a deeper understanding of yourself can help you to bring about lasting change to create the life you dream of. I want to work with you to develop a deeper understanding to enable you to break patterns and develop the skills you need to handle whatever life brings you. It is vital to love oneself and be willing to have unconditional positive self -regard.

What you can expect from me

I desire to help you gain insight into you so that your future is brighter, and you are stronger in knowing who you are. Yes, we all think we have flaws but sometimes what we think are flaws are strengths hidden by biases and once we understand them a whole new perspective is unveiled. The first step is the hardest but after that I will be there for you each step of the process.
