Great to meet you!

I am a graduate of Alliant International University with a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have a passion for helping individuals, couples, and families with unpacking the traumas of life that have left them with unanswered questions and some confusion about how to better navigate life.

I am passionate about “going deeper” to untangle the root cause of harmful default behaviors and providing support in better understanding the connections between cognitive processing, emotional responses/reactions, and behavioral functioning.

Being both an African American therapist and a Christian, I strive to respect the cultural and traditional practices of my clients while collaboratively creating the best plan for their future. I am dedicated to supporting and providing quality care throughout this journey toward a healthier you.

My approach to therapy

My focus is on meeting each client where they are and supporting them down the path they deem most appropriate to attaining their ultimate goals. I aim to identify unhealthy behavioral patterns, triggers, and challenges - to then replace them with more productive, stable alternatives.

What you can expect from me

The first few sessions will be about my efforts to hear and best understand what my clients desire to accomplish. Their concerns, hurts, disappointments, traumas, etc. My hope is to earn the trust required to establish and maintain a safe environment for process and grown effectively.
