Great to meet you!

"If nothing ever changed there would be no butterflies." ~Walt Disney Our lives are met with never ending change; those transitions may at times leave us feeling unsettled. Whether excited about a new family, graduating or perhaps a job promotion: the opposite may occur. Losing a job, a loved one, a relationship. The truth remains; life is a constant ebb and flow of situations, relationships and feelings. These transitions at some point, can benefit from talking them through with someone who is non-judgmental, accepting and offers an outside perspective. I have been in the social work field for over 20 years and have had the privilege to meet, learn with and grow with individuals from many different walks of life. It is an honor to take that journey with you.

My approach to therapy

I take a casual approach to our working relationship and build around the trust we create. It's important to me that each person who works with me finds the best fit for the journey they are on. Whether I'm the best fit, or we identify that I am not; the most critical step is already taken. You are here. I respect and admire that, more than you know!

What you can expect from me

Our first session will be an informal gathering of background information, that leads into what it is that brought you to meet me. Try to be in a place that is comfortable, private and conducive to being able to express yourself!
