Great to meet you!

Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, especially if you’ve been carrying stress, anxiety, relationship challenges, or past experiences on your own for a long time. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and supported while we work through the challenges that may be holding you back.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with adults navigating anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, life transitions, and unresolved trauma. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or emotionally drained, and together we work to gain clarity, rebuild confidence, and develop healthier ways of coping and communicating.

I believe therapy should feel like a partnership. You don’t have to have everything figured out before coming in. My role is to help you make sense of what you’re experiencing, identify patterns that may no longer be serving you, and support you in creating meaningful and lasting change.

If you're ready to better understand yourself, strengthen your relationships, and move forward with more confidence and balance, therapy can be a powerful step in that direction.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each individual’s unique experiences and goals. I integrate evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed care to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.

In our work together, we focus on identifying patterns that contribute to stress, anxiety, or relationship challenges while developing practical tools that support emotional regulation, healthy boundaries, and improved communication. I also believe in highlighting each client’s strengths and resilience as we work toward meaningful progress.

My style is supportive, empowering, and solution-focused. I strive to create an environment where clients feel comfortable being open and honest while also feeling encouraged to grow, challenge old patterns, and build the life they want moving forward.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we will focus on getting to know you and understanding what has brought you to therapy. This is a space for you to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with while we begin exploring your goals, current challenges, and what you hope to gain from the therapeutic process.

I will ask questions to better understand your experiences, background, and the areas of your life where you may be feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or seeking change. The first session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions, discuss what therapy might look like moving forward, and determine whether the therapeutic fit feels right for you.

My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer understanding of how we can work together to help you move toward the changes you want to see in your life.
