Great to meet you!

Hi! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who earned my degree from Florida State University. I work with adolescents and adults age 13 and older, supporting clients through a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship and family concerns, and major life transitions.

I take an individualized and collaborative approach to therapy, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. My goal is to provide a supportive space where clients can feel understood while developing practical tools and strategies to navigate challenges and create meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and empowering. I believe therapy should be a space where you can be honest and feel accepted, while also being challenged when needed. I’m not here to simply tell you what you want to hear- I want to help you recognize patterns, understand yourself better, and work through the things that may be keeping you stuck.

I use CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to help clients build confidence, develop practical tools, and identify realistic steps toward their goals. I also believe therapy doesn’t have to feel overly formal or serious all the time, and when appropriate, I’m definitely a believer in using humor and keeping things conversational. My goal is to meet you where you are and work with you toward where you want to be.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and for you to share what brought you to therapy and what you hope to get out of it. You do not need to have everything figured out or know exactly what you want to talk about- I’ll help guide the conversation.

We’ll talk about what you’re currently experiencing, what has been challenging, and what you would like to be different. Together, we’ll begin identifying goals for therapy and ways we can work toward them that feel realistic and meaningful for you. My goal is for you to leave your first session feeling heard, comfortable, and with a better sense of direction for where we can go from there.

Most importantly, I want you to feel like you can be yourself. Therapy is a collaborative process, and building a relationship where you feel comfortable being honest is an important part of that process.
