Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Sophie. I’m an independently licensed therapist providing virtual therapy in Florida, Ohio, and Indiana, and I accept most major insurance plans. I work with adults navigating anxiety, OCD, mood disorders, relationship stress, trauma, chronic pain, infertility/IVF, eating disorders, and major life transitions. My approach is warm, collaborative, and supportive, while also helping clients build practical tools they can use in everyday life.

I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes. Reaching out for support can feel overwhelming, and I believe therapy should feel approachable, validating, and tailored to your unique needs and goals. Together, we focus on improving coping skills, emotional regulation, communication, boundaries, self-esteem, and overall quality of life.

I earned my B.A. in Psychology and M.Ed. in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from Florida Atlantic University and have over 11 years of experience supporting both women and men through a wide range of emotional and behavioral health concerns.

I’m especially passionate about helping individuals coping with chronic pain, infertility, IVF, and the emotional toll that medical and health-related challenges can have on mental health, relationships, identity, and self-esteem. I also enjoy working with clients who feel stuck, overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or uncertain about how to move forward. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, intrusive thoughts, family or relationship conflict, burnout, or life transitions, therapy can help you gain insight, build confidence, and develop healthier patterns.

My office hours are Tuesday–Thursday from 11 AM–5 PM EST. If you don’t see a time that works for your schedule or have questions about getting started, please feel free to reach out — I’m here to support you!!

My approach to therapy

I deeply value the uniqueness of every individual and believe therapy should be personalized to reflect your specific experiences, needs, and goals. In my practice, no two treatment plans are ever the same. I take a collaborative and supportive approach, working closely with clients to create meaningful goals and a treatment plan that feels realistic, empowering, and aligned with their values. I believe therapy works best when clients feel actively involved in the process, so I only recommend strategies, coping skills, or therapeutic exercises that feel comfortable and meaningful to you. Most importantly, I strive to provide a safe, inclusive, affirming, and nonjudgmental space where all clients feel heard, respected, and supported.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a strong therapeutic relationship. We’ll talk about what has brought you to therapy, explore what you’d like to gain from the experience, and start identifying goals that feel important to you. You’re welcome to ask questions at any time—I’m here to provide support, guidance, and a safe space for you throughout your journey.
