Great to meet you!

My 14+ years as a bereavement counselor have honed my skills in providing education that will assist clients moving through transition and nurturing self-awareness and self-compassion. My training as an IFS informed therapist informs how I work with clients.

I received my Master's in Counseling Psychology in 2004 from Immaculata University. I am also meditation practitioner and have developed products to teach mindfulness to children.

My approach to therapy

My approach is an eclectic one, utilizing those therapy approaches that will most benefit the client in the session. I often draw from an Internal Family Systems framework while also incorporating cognitive behavioral and mindfulness based strategies. In the initial session, we will talk about what brought you to therapy and what you hope to gain from our work together.

What you can expect from me

Creating emotional safety and conveying unconditional acceptance of my clients is the foundation of my practice. Additionally, clients can expect to better understand different parts of themselves and respond to those parts with compassion and curiosity.
