Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Counselor Educator. I am graduate of Old Dominion University, where I earned my doctoral degree in counseling.

My approach to therapy

My approach to counseling is client centered and client directed. I believe that client's are capable of finding solutions to problems with the assistance of a counselor. The counselor's role is to provide supportive listening and encouragement while using a pragmatic approach to considering the client's issue/concern.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect that they will have a safe space to share their thoughts and feelings. I have a pragmatic approach to getting unstuck. I am a firm believer in clients using coping skills learned in therapy to self-sooth and regulate difficult emotions.
