Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Sophie! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and I work with women through pregnancy, new motherhood, perimenopause, menopause — the seasons of life that change everything but rarely come with a manual. I'm warm and pretty easy to talk to, and I bring a lot of listening (and a little dry humor) to our sessions. I got my degree from UT Austin and I'm trained in EMDR and DBT — and I'm also fluent in French, so if that feels more natural for you, we can absolutely work in French too. But honestly, what I love most is helping women find their way back to themselves after everything's felt like a lot for a while. If that sounds like you, I'd love to talk.

My approach to therapy

I like to mix things that actually work with just... real talk. A lot of the women I see are in the middle of something big, becoming a mom, or moving through perimenopause or menopause, and honestly nobody prepared them for how much that shakes things up. So depending on what you're dealing with, we might use EMDR to work through something that's been sitting heavy, or DBT skills for the day-to-day overwhelm, or just talk through your body and what it's holding onto. I try to make sessions feel less like an appointment and more like talking to someone who actually gets it, not someone reading off a script. At the end of the day, I just want you to leave feeling steadier and more like yourself.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is really just us getting to know each other. You don't need to have it all figured out or say the "right" thing, promise. We'll talk about what's going on, what brought you in, and what you're hoping things could look like on the other side. I'll ask some questions to get a feel for your story and what's been happening lately. My hope is that you walk away feeling a little lighter, with a real sense of what our work together will look like, and knowing you're in the right place.
