Great to meet you!

Sophie graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude with a BA from Columbia University before completing her DNP there and becoming a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. She also holds a PhD in Biomedical Ethics from the University of Zürich. Sophie has spent years working with individuals to help them bring greater awareness to their experiences. She has training in dialectical behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-informed care, focusing, and somatic work.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Sophie works with adults, providing both psychotherapy and medication management. She offers support for depression, mood disturbances, anxiety, trauma, poor sleep, disordered eating, emotional dysregulation, and other difficulties. She is committed to care that considers the whole person.

What you can expect from our first session

While working together sometimes consists of medication management only, typically sessions last 45-minutes and center psychotherapy. Self-exploration and skill-building are key for healing, growing, and living fully.
