Sophie Gomez

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Colorado with years of experience working with adolescents, adults, families, and couples. I earned my MSW from the University of Denver and am based in the Lakewood area, where I offer both in-person and virtual sessions. My background spans family conflict, trauma, anxiety, and attachment. I have a deep passion for working with individuals, kids, and families, and I utilize an approach that is unique to your needs, as I believe no two clients are the same. In our work together, I will ensure that you feel seen, listened to, affirmed, and supported, as I know therapy can be a difficult and intimidating journey!

I specialize in a trauma-informed and systemic approach that is designed to explore issues in a safe and compassionate way. By using evidence-based modalities such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative Therapy, and Attachment Theory, I explore clients' emotions in an experiential and safe way that promotes self-understanding and growth. I try to meet everyone where they are rather than where I think they should be. No two clients are the same, and I take that seriously.
