Great to meet you!

My name is Sophie, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, with many years of experience. I treat clients with different mental health disorders such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar, ADHD, and more. I approach each case with a diverse understanding of the client’s needs, while targeting a holistic approach to their health and wellness. I create a partnership with my clients to help them succeed at their goals and get the outcome that works best for them.

My approach to therapy

I perform a thorough assessment to fully understand each client’s issue. I then utilize a holistic centered approach to ensure that each treatment plan directly targets the unique needs of the client. Not only do I manage symptoms, I also ensure I support clients by providing long term strategies for maintaining mental health, as well as preventing relapse. I believe that a client-centered therapeutic relationship, based on mutual trust and respect will positively impact the client’s outcomes.

What you can expect from me

My clients will walk away from the first session knowing that they have a safe and non-judgmental space to discuss their issues. They will feel heard, understood, and optimistic about my approach toward their care. As part of the first session, clients should expect to have an assessment, diagnosis, and discuss treatment options. Clients will also receive tools and strategies to help them succeed at their goals. Most of all, clients will feel supported in a respectful and confidential space.
