Great to meet you!

I am a licensed professional counselor and registered art therapist based in downtown Fairfield, CT. I am passionate about helping my clients promote positive change in their lives through introspection and conscious action. I utilize a holistic approach that combines counseling, coaching, art therapy, and mindfulness practices.

My approach to therapy

In session, we explore the past and present, as well as wishes for the future. I help clients identify and cultivate patterns and behaviors that support these goals and overall wellbeing. We also examine habits and tendencies that are less helpful and create friction in life. We will gently and lovingly confront feelings head-on, in order to make them feel less daunting or overwhelming over time. I feel strongly about providing concrete tools to apply in everyday life between sessions, as well as "homework" to help clients create positive change.

I also am passionate about sharing techniques to cultivate mindful communication in everyday life. This includes emotional resiliency work. This can be transformational when it comes to strengthening our relationship with self and, subsequently, those around us. Small changes, made overtime and with commitment, lead to powerful and lasting change.

What you can expect from me

My hope is that my sessions will help you feel more connected to your own resiliency and resourcefulness. If you are coming to therapy because of grief from loss or trauma, my goal is to help you safely process all the complex feelings associated with these hardships.
