Great to meet you!

Hi there, I'm Soraya and I help anxious, depressed, and traumatized adults/teens find clarity and peace in their worlds --without the pressure to over work in order to feel worthy. My License in Mental Health Counseling combined with several years experience working with anxiety, depression, and trauma makes me a great fit for adults and teens ready to transform their lives for the better.

A bit about my approach to therapy

When client’s first come to me, they typically feel like they’re failing at the never ending list of responsibilities at home, work, and in relationships. They also keep pushing because they “can’t afford to fall apart”.

CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) is my super power! CBT helps you rewire your relationship with your thoughts, feelings, and choices you make. Together we get clarity on what’s not working anymore, release guilt and shame, and learn to set boundaries at work and home.

What you can expect from our first session

I help anxious, over-busy adults and teens learn to calm their minds and release the fear that everything will fall apart if they're not perfect. Clients that work with me gain clarity, release guilt and shame, and set the boundaries needed to make space for joy and self-care.
