Great to meet you!

I specialize in understanding and healing attachment styles and wounds, and how they shape relationships with self, friends, family, and romantic partners. I am uniquely experienced in supporting those who are experiencing the excruciating impacts of infidelity or betrayal trauma or navigating the deep grief that comes with divorce or the loss of a loved one. I am passionate about empowering clients to set and maintain firm boundaries, especially with high-conflict personalities such as narcissism. I also address anxiety, particularly when tied to perfectionism and/or ADHD.

I am open-minded and welcome clients from all backgrounds, beliefs, and walks of life—my practice is inclusive and non-judgmental by default. If it feels meaningful to you, I’m happy to incorporate christian or faith-based elements into our work upon your request.

My approach to therapy

My therapy approach is primarily grounded in attachment theory, which views early relationships with caregivers as shaping our present-day patterns of connection, trust, and emotional regulation. We gently explore past experiences to identify attachment wounds and understand how your attachment style manifests today—in relationships, self-perception, and coping—with the goal of fostering greater security, self-awareness, and healthier bonds.

I integrate complementary techniques to support this relational focus, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for practical tools to challenge unhelpful thoughts and behaviors, Gestalt therapy to heighten present-moment awareness and process unfinished emotional experiences, and Person-Centered principles to provide a warm, empathetic, non-judgmental space where you feel fully seen and accepted. This integrative, down-to-earth style is tailored to your unique needs, helping you heal relational wounds while building resilience and more fulfilling connections in the here and now.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a safe, collaborative, and down-to-earth space in therapy, where I meet you with genuine emotional attunement in every session. We’ll build trust from the first meeting by openly discussing your goals, background, confidentiality, and how the process works. Sessions involve honest, non-judgmental conversations to explore your thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and patterns, often with practical tools or exercises to help address challenges and build coping skills. Progress varies—some experience quick relief or fresh insights, while deeper shifts usually come with consistent effort over time. While it can feel vulnerable as tough topics arise, the aim is always to promote a greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, stronger relationships, and practical tools to navigate life’s difficulties with greater ease and hope.
