Great to meet you!

My name is Sorel Bertrand. I am a Medical Doctor, Public Health Specialist, licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor, and certified Nurturing Father’s Group Facilitator. I am also a father who believes in the power of change, and a man of faith.

I specialize in helping men from diverse backgrounds overcome alcohol and drug addiction while strengthening their role as fathers.

My approach to therapy

My approach is multicultural, client-centered, and rooted in cultural humility—because recovery looks different for everyone.

Addiction touches not just the individual but also the family—the foundation of society.

Fathers who are engaged, present, and committed to their children play a vital role in both preventing addiction and inspiring recovery.

What you can expect from me

I work with men who are navigating substance use challenges related to depression, trauma, or difficulties within their relationships and families. In our initial sessions, we will explore these challenges in depth and develop a personalized plan that supports both recovery and reconnection with loved ones. Recovery and fatherhood can strengthen one another with purpose and motivation.

👉 I am here to support you on your journey of healing, recovery, and fatherhood.
