Great to meet you!

Hi there! I received my Masters from Nova Southeastern University and I am a licensed mental health counselor who works with children, teens, and their families. I offer a warm, welcoming space where young people can feel safe to be themselves, explore their emotions, and build the tools they need to navigate life’s challenges.

Whether it’s anxiety, depression, self-esteem struggles, trouble communicating, or healing from trauma, I meet each client with compassion and curiosity. I use a mix of talk therapy, creative expression, and age-appropriate techniques like play or art to support growth and healing.

I also enjoy partnering with parents and caregivers to help support progress outside of the therapy room. My goal is always to help young people feel heard, supported, and empowered.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, being outdoors, and always looking for new, creative ways to connect with the kids and teens I work with.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and tailored to the unique needs of each client. I draw from evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and solution-focused techniques, while incorporating creative modalities such as play therapy and expressive arts, especially with younger clients.

For teens, I focus on building a trusting relationship where they can safely explore emotions, challenge unhelpful thoughts, and develop tools for communication and self-worth. I also take a trauma-informed lens, creating a space where clients feel safe, respected, and understood.

I believe in the power of connection and that growth happens when kids and teens feel truly seen and supported—both in and out of the therapy room.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to leave sessions with greater self-awareness, improved emotional regulation, and practical tools to manage challenges. Children and teens often learn how to identify and express their feelings, build confidence, and develop healthier ways to cope with stress, anxiety, or difficult situations.
