Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Sossity,

For as long as I can remember, I have always wanted to help people see how amazing they are. I see everyone as a human being first, followed by their life experiences and the results of them.

I’m a Santa Cruz native, UCSC banana slug alumni, and a California state licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.

I began my therapy career working with people experiencing active emergency crises that require immediate care and attention. My time spent in psychiatric facilities, crisis stabilization units, leading out-patient groups, and providing individual therapy has given me great empathy, compassion, and an in-depth feeling of connectedness to the human experience.

My approach to therapy

As a trained crisis clinician, I also work with clients across multiple levels of acuity and understand the care and continuity required after stepping down from a IOP/PHP program or an inpatient psychiatric hospital stay.

I provide a supportive, thoughtful space for adolescents (12+) and adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, AuDHD, and the emotional impact of life transitions and relationships. Many of my clients feel overwhelmed, stuck, or exhausted from trying to manage their inner world while meeting the demands of everyday life. Therapy is a place to slow things down, make sense of patterns, and find relief without judgment.

Whether you’re seeking clarity, emotional support, or tools to navigate change; together, I can help you feel more grounded, connected, and empowered in your life.

What you can expect from me

During our initial session you’ll have the opportunity to share your story and what you hope to achieve in therapy. My goal is to provide a safe supportive space where you can be your authentic self and feel comfortable sharing and being vulnerable.
