Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Sossity,

For as long as I can remember, I have always wanted to help people see how amazing they are. I see everyone as a human being first, followed by their life experiences and the results of them. I’m a Santa Cruz native, UCSC banana slug alumni, and a California state licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I began my therapy career working with people experiencing active emergency crises that require immediate care and attention. My time spent in psychiatric facilities, crisis stabilization units, leading out-patient groups, and providing individual therapy has given me great empathy, compassion, and an in-depth feeling of connectedness to the human experience.

My approach to therapy

Life can feel overwhelming when anxiety, intense emotions, or neurodivergence make everyday challenges harder to navigate. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space to help you better understand yourself, strengthen emotional regulation, reduce anxiety, and build practical tools for lasting change.

What you can expect from me

Reaching out for support can feel like a big step, especially when you have spent years trying to manage things on your own. I believe therapy is a place to feel understood, develop insight, and learn practical skills that fit who you are. During our initial session you’ll have the opportunity to share your story, what brought you here today, and what you hope to achieve in therapy. My goal is to provide a safe supportive space where you can be your authentic self and feel comfortable sharing and being vulnerable so that together, we can create a path toward greater calm, confidence, and connection.
