Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified psychotherapist with a solid scientific background and a good understanding of the mind-body connection. I have graduate degrees in Mental Health Counseling/Art Therapy, Clinical Research, Neuroscience, and Biochemistry. I am certified for ADHD as well as Trauma-Informed Clinical Practice through New York University. I am also a Cue-Center Therapy Trainer at Stanford University. I have experience in complex trauma, chronic stress, anxiety, depression, sleep hygiene, and ADHD.

My approach to therapy

I believe in the effectiveness of evidence-based approaches. I have training in Cue-Centered Therapy for trauma, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy & Trauma-Focused CBT, Prolonged Exposure, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy for Trauma, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, Behavior Therapy/Token Economy, and Motivational Interviewing. I have worked with all age groups, primarily children, teens and young adults, and culturally diverse populations.

What you can expect from me

Wellness is when people reach autonomy, self-efficacy and have control over their lives and way of living. I am dedicated to my clients’ holistic health. My approach is to empower my clients, foster resilience and develop insight to make sense of their life experiences. Most importantly is my ability to create a safe place and therapeutic alliances with my clients.
