Great to meet you!

I offer a warm, judgment-free space where you can be yourself—even if “yourself” currently feels overwhelmed, stuck, or held together by caffeine and determination. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and practical, with humor included when it helps. I believe therapy can be meaningful without feeling stiff or overly clinical. Together, we’ll build on your strengths, work through challenges, and create lasting change at a pace that feels right for you.

My approach to therapy

My approach is direct, practical, and solution-focused, because sometimes we need more than a thoughtful nod and another question. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you identify and change unhelpful patterns in your thoughts and behaviors. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) helps you make room for difficult emotions while taking meaningful steps toward the life you want. I also use Motivational Interviewing to help you work through uncertainty and strengthen your motivation for change. Positive Psychology ties it all together by building on your strengths, resilience, and what is already working in your life.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a supportive, open environment where we are honest, focused, and able to use humor when appropriate and needed. Together, we will identify clear, realistic goals and create practical steps toward meaningful change. Sessions are collaborative and solution-focused, so you can expect more than a sympathetic nod and a “How does that make you feel?” By the end of each session, my goal is for you to leave with greater clarity, useful tools, and a sense of direction.
