Great to meet you!

I completed my counseling related education at the University of Chicago. I also have a doctoral degree from Indiana University. I enjoy working with adults struggling with a variety of issues and my style is affirming, empowering and solution-oriented.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is strengths based. I believe in initially taking time to get to know my clients well and determining what strengths they have. As we explore the difficulties that they may be facing, I like to try to reframe negative thoughts using cognitive behavioral strategies. My goal is to work with clients to apply their strengths to help them work through their issues/concerns.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to feel affirmed during their sessions, to engage in non-judgmental dialogue, and to build skills to help navigate life's challenges
