Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been working in the mental health field since 2013. I hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology with a Minor in Social Work from Texas State University. I later earned a master’s degree in Counseling and Guidance from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2014. I became a Licensed Professional Counselor in 2017 and renew that license every two years per licensing guidelines.

My approach to therapy

I will work with you to create a safe, calm space that is free from judgment and criticism, a space where you can truly open up to work through past hurts and begin to heal. I work from a person-centered approach to meet you where you are and use a lot of relational therapy in my techniques. I really enjoy helping clients figure out what self-care looks like for them and finding ways to make it a regular part of their lives.

What you can expect from me

My goal is for clients to leave my office feeling stronger and more validated than when they came in. To feel like they are seen and accepted for who they are and shown grace and compassion around the areas they want to work on.
