Great to meet you!

Sometimes the people we love the most are the ones we struggle to connect with, especially when life becomes overwhelming. Maybe your child is having emotional outbursts or struggling to focus at school, your family seems caught in the same arguments, or you're dealing with anxiety, panic attacks, or depression that make it difficult to be fully present. Perhaps you've experienced a painful loss, you're adjusting to a chronic health condition, or something from your past still affects how safe you feel and how much you trust others. I want to help children, adults, and families feel understood, strengthen their relationships, and find relief from the struggles that have been weighing them down.

My approach to therapy

I believe that what's happening beneath someone's behavior is often just as important as the behavior itself. For children, that might mean using play to help them express feelings they don't yet have the words for, while helping parents understand what's behind the meltdowns, withdrawal, or difficulty following directions. With adults and families, we'll explore how past experiences affect trust, why certain conversations turn into arguments, and how to manage anxiety, panic, or depression without letting those feelings take over. When trauma is involved, we'll work through painful memories at a comfortable pace while building practical ways to feel safer, more connected, and more confident in everyday life.

What you can expect from me

You don't have to arrive knowing exactly what's wrong or how to explain everything that's been happening. We might talk about why your child suddenly dreads going to school, why you feel anxious even when everything seems fine, how a loss has changed your family, or why you keep feeling distant from someone you love. If you're bringing your child, I'll make sure they have opportunities to feel comfortable and understood while also hearing your concerns as a parent. Together, we'll identify what's been most difficult, what you've already tried, and what needs to change to help life feel more manageable.
