Great to meet you!

Some seasons of life make even the smallest steps feel heavy. Maybe depression has drained your energy, grief has left you unmoored, or trauma keeps pulling you back to moments you'd rather move past. Maybe you're living with bipolar disorder, a major depressive episode, or intense emotional shifts that make daily life hard to predict — and you're tired of feeling like you have to manage it alone.

I work with adults navigating depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma and PTSD, and serious mental health conditions including bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and borderline personality disorder. I also support people through major life transitions, identity questions, maternal mental health, and the stress and burnout that build quietly over time. Many of the people I see have felt dismissed or overwhelmed elsewhere and arrive unsure whether things can really change.

My goal is to offer a space where you feel respected, understood, and genuinely supported as you begin making sense of what you're carrying. You don't need to have it all figured out before we start — we'll begin exactly where you are.

My approach to therapy

My approach is grounded in empathy, respect, and a steady belief that people can move toward meaningful change when they feel safe enough to do the work. I draw on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Trauma-Focused CBT to interrupt the thought patterns that keep anxiety, depression, and trauma responses in place, and I use Emotion-Focused Therapy to help you understand and work with difficult feelings rather than fight them.

Depending on what you're facing, I integrate Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Psychodynamic work, and Strength-Based approaches — along with family-centered methods like Family-Focused Therapy, Structural and Strategic Family Therapy, and Psychoeducational Family Therapy when relationships are part of the picture.

I bring a thoughtful, problem-solving mindset to our sessions. Together we'll get clear on what's getting in the way, set goals that actually matter to you, and track progress at a pace that feels right. Expect a collaborative, conversational style — direct when it's helpful, always compassionate. I believe change happens through understanding paired with practical steps you can carry into daily life.

What you can expect from me

In our work together, you can expect a supportive, nonjudgmental space where we move at a pace that feels right for you. Over time, many of the people I work with notice real shifts: steadier energy and mood, less time lost to rumination or panic, and a clearer sense of who they are and what they need. They build tools to regulate intense emotions, communicate more openly, set boundaries that hold, and reconnect with the parts of life that bring meaning.

Healing rarely arrives all at once — it shows up in steadiness, connection, and small moments of peace that start to add up. Whether you're working through grief, managing a long-term diagnosis, or simply trying to feel like yourself again, my hope is that therapy becomes a place you can rely on. You've already taken a hard first step by reaching out. I'd be honored to take the next ones with you.
