Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with nearly two decades of healthcare experience. I provide evidence-based psychiatric care for adults through Telehealth across Arizona and in-person appointments in the Gilbert area.

My clinical focus is working with adults who have learned to function through stress, responsibility, or past adversity, yet feel internally overwhelmed, disconnected, or find themselves shutting down under pressure. I work with anxiety, depression, and stress-related conditions, with particular attention to how chronic or early life stress, nervous system patterns, and gut–brain interactions can influence emotional health over time.

My approach is structured, collaborative, and steady. I integrate supportive psychotherapy with medication management when clinically appropriate, pacing care in a way that feels safe, thoughtful, and sustainable rather than rushed. Medication is introduced carefully and collaboratively, not as a default, but as one component of a comprehensive treatment plan.

As a Hispanic provider, I value culturally responsive care and understand how identity, family systems, and lived experience influence mental health. My own healing journey has been shaped by a deep sense of spiritual connection to God through my Christian faith, which informs the compassion and steadiness I bring to each appointment. For individuals seeking greater harmony between mind, body, and spirit, I provide grounded, compassionate care tailored to the whole person.

My goal is to provide meaningful symptom relief while recognizing that healing occurs not only through symptom reduction, but through cultivating a deeper relationship with self, mind, body, and spirit. Together, we can build lasting stability and resilience by strengthening your ability to bend under stress, recover with greater capacity, and stay rooted in ways that support continued growth.

My approach to therapy

Care is structured, collaborative, and grounded in thoughtful clinical practice. I approach psychiatric treatment as a partnership rather than a directive process, providing focused, goal-oriented care within a calm, respectful, and emotionally safe environment.

Many of the individuals I work with are high-functioning adults who appear capable and dependable in their careers, families, and communities, yet feel internally overwhelmed, fatigued, or discouraged. They often carry significant responsibility and have grown accustomed to minimizing their own distress in order to keep moving forward. Over time, chronic stress and sustained pressure can gradually contribute to anxiety, low mood, irritability, sleep disruption, or emotional exhaustion.

Treatment is grounded in evidence-based psychiatric care and paced to each individual's needs, maintaining a steady, collaborative focus throughout the process.

Psychotherapy is a central part of my work, integrating supportive therapy with cognitive behavioral and mindfulness-informed approaches, with medication management incorporated when clinically appropriate.I pay close attention to patterns of stress, nervous system activation, and the interaction between biological and emotional factors over time.

My goal is to support meaningful symptom improvement while fostering sustainable stability through careful pacing, collaborative decision-making, and thoughtful medication guidance when aligned with your goals and overall plan of care.

What you can expect from me

My role is to help individuals move from feeling chronically overwhelmed or discouraged toward steady, sustainable stability. Treatment often focuses on reducing anxiety, improving mood, restoring sleep, and helping patients feel more regulated and clear-headed in daily life.

I strive to create an environment that feels calm, structured, and collaborative. Appointments are focused and intentional, with clear communication about goals, medication decisions, and next steps. Whether addressing anxiety, depression, or stress-related symptoms, my aim is to provide care that feels steady rather than rushed.

For those who would like to determine fit before scheduling a full appointment, I offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation to answer questions and explore whether my approach aligns with your needs.
