Great to meet you!

I'm Stacey Mackaman, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and founder of Flourish Psychotherapy Collective, based in Redondo Beach. My clinical work centers on trauma, ADHD, and grief. My approach is to help clients understand how these experiences shape their daily lives and relationships and to build practical tools to navigate them. I bring both depth and structure to our work together, believing that meaningful change comes from feeling truly understood, not just given a checklist of techniques. I'd love to support you in navigating whatever brought you here today.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative and depth-oriented. I believe real change happens when clients feel genuinely seen. With clients navigating trauma, I focus on helping them understand how past experiences show up in present-day patterns, so healing feels grounded rather than abstract. For clients with ADHD, I blend practical strategies with compassion for how the brain actually works, rather than pushing generic productivity fixes. And with grief, I hold space for the nonlinear, often messy nature of loss, helping clients find their own pace rather than a prescribed timeline.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is about creating a foundation of safety and trust. I want you to leave feeling heard. We'll spend time exploring what brought you to therapy, your history, and what you're hoping to get out of our work together, but at a pace that feels right for you, not a rigid intake checklist. I'll share some initial thoughts on how I see your situation and what our work together might look like, so you leave with a sense of direction. By the end, my goal is for you to feel a genuine connection and confidence that this is the right fit before we move forward.
