Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Stacey Miller, a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. I’ve been working in mental health since 1997 and became a PMHNP after graduating from Binghamton University in 2000. Over nearly 30 years in this field, I’ve grown alongside my patients and continue to be driven by one thing: helping people achieve a better quality of life.

I specialize in treating depression, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, and anxiety. Many of the people I meet feel “stuck” when they first come in—frustrated, discouraged, and unsure why things haven’t improved. My biggest strength is my determination. I don’t give up on my patients, and I’m committed to helping you find a path forward that truly works.

Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, living by the beach, and spending time with my family—especially our Golden Retriever, Munson.

My approach to therapy

My approach is direct, honest, and client-centered. I believe the best outcomes happen when care is collaborative, so I involve you in every step of the decision-making process. I want you to feel like we are a team.

Together, we look at what hasn’t worked and explore what might work differently to optimize the benefits of psychiatric care. My goal is for you to feel safe, supported, and confident in your ability to experience real improvement in your symptoms.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll take the time to fully understand what’s been going on and what’s bringing you in now. We’ll work together to determine an accurate diagnosis and create a thoughtful, personalized treatment plan.

You can expect honesty, compassion, and partnership. Most importantly, you can expect someone who is committed to helping you move from feeling stuck to feeling steady, empowered, and hopeful again.
