Great to meet you!

I’m a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a background in both medical and behavioral health care. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in real-world experience—helping clients feel understood while working together toward meaningful change.

My professional journey has included years of practice across inpatient, community, and outpatient settings, where I’ve supported individuals and families navigating mental health challenges, substance use recovery, and life transitions. I value creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their goals and develop strategies for wellness and resilience.

I believe effective care blends clinical knowledge with empathy, respect, and open communication. My goal is to meet you where you are, honor your unique story, and help you move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is holistic, collaborative, and centered on the individual. I believe that healing happens when clients feel genuinely heard, respected, and empowered to take an active role in their wellness journey.

I combine evidence-based psychiatric practice with a compassionate, person-centered perspective—addressing not just symptoms, but the whole person, including emotional, social, and physical well-being. I strive to create a supportive environment where clients can explore challenges safely, identify strengths, and develop practical tools for growth and resilience.

My focus is on building a therapeutic partnership grounded in trust, education, and empowerment. Together, we’ll develop a care plan that reflects your unique goals, values, and life experiences.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my goal is to create a calm, supportive space where you can share what brings you to care—at your own pace and in your own words. We’ll talk about your current concerns, personal history, and goals for treatment, as well as review any past experiences with therapy or medication.

I take time to listen carefully, answer questions, and explain how the treatment process works so that you feel comfortable and informed every step of the way. By the end of our session, we’ll begin outlining an initial plan together that reflects your needs, preferences, and priorities.

My hope is that you leave feeling understood, supported, and hopeful about the path ahead.
