Great to meet you!

I specialize in treating adults and seniors coping with anxiety, OCD, and who are struggling with identity or life transitions. I completed my internship and postdoctoral fellowship at the VA, where I trained intensively in a variety of evidence based tools to support survivors of trauma, individuals living with OCD and anxiety spectrum disorders, substance misuse disorders, and chronic illness/chronic pain.

My approach to therapy

I meet you where you are, human to human. I have deep evidence based skills, training, and experience, but I feel the most transformative part of therapy is making sure you feel seen. This creates safety and hope as I walk along side you, and support you in using the tools you need to heal.

What you can expect from me

Very often, someone will sit down on my couch and tell me they have thoughts or feelings they're afraid of, and that they've never told anyone before. It's my aim to make you feel safe, welcome, and comfortable no matter what. In the first session work on learning about who you are with directness, warmth, and humor. We will then collaborate on goals and a plan such that you leave your first session with hope and a sense of direction.
