Great to meet you!

Feeling stuck? Needing to sort things out? Is adulting hard? As a Christian Counselor I work with individuals and couples to create mentally healthy habits and positive change.

My approach to therapy

I take a collaborative approach with the clients I serve. Helping them identify the positive changes they want to make in their life, as defined by them. Not only will you learn practical skills within the first few sessions, you will learn why those practical skills work, and how to tweak them to make them work for you. We will create actional, tangible items and a toolbox of skills to help you be successful in overcoming challenges in your life.

What you can expect from me

Utilizing a collaborative approach we work together to set goals to make positive changes in your life as you define them. Additionally, I operate through a lens that given the right support and the right tools people can make positive changes in their life, and change unhealthy habits long-term. Nearly all people have "stuff" past hurts, guilt, shame, loss, anger... Everyone's stuff is different. We don't have to discuss that "stuff" and we can't go back and change that "stuff." But what we can do is learn ways that minimize how often that "stuff" emerges, and how of long it interferes when it does. We can learn how to address things when we are blindsided by the "stuff" or when we don't understand where the "stuff" is coming from.
