Great to meet you!

Hi there, I am Stacey Sciacchitano, a licensed Psychotherapist based in Southern California. My work is rooted in the belief that anxiety is not a flaw, it is a protective system that has worked very hard for a long time.

I am passionate about helping high-functioning people, especially women, move beyond anxiety, overthinking, and fear of not being enough.

My approach to therapy

Clients often tell me they feel deeply understood in our work. I bring steadiness, warmth, and thoughtful challenge. I believe healing happens when we feel safe enough to soften and supported enough to grow.

You are not a diagnosis and I take a transdiagnostic perspective in my work with you. Meaning I see the whole you and utilize an integrative approach to help you with all of your parts.

My practice is unique because I blend evidence-based psychotherapy with mindfulness, nervous system regulation, guided imagery, and experiential approaches to help you move beyond anxiety, overthinking, and self-doubt. Rather than simply teaching coping skills, I aim to help you understand the underlying patterns driving the distress so you can create lasting emotional well-being and live with greater confidence, clarity, and peace.

What you can expect from me

To open up to someone doesn't come automatically. I want to hear your story and what you desire for your life. In the first session, I do not conduct a very formal interview, I have very thorough intake paperwork that covers much of that. Your first session is a chance for us to begin building a trusting relationship and gain a deeper understanding of what brings you to therapy. We will start to explore the concerns that are impacting your life, discuss some of your personal history, identify your strengths, and clarify your goals for treatment. I take a collaborative approach, so we'll work together to create a personalized plan that supports meaningful, lasting change. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, and hopeful, with a clearer sense of the path forward.
